I recently made this too! Yours is so much prettier than mine with so many more flavors. I might try your version next time.

Those type of pears exist. I have a crachnid pear tree in my front yard. It's not horrible - I'm just asking - can I use the pears or not? They produce pink fruit, sometimes crunchy, sometimes soft, sometimes rubbery, and sometimes juicy like grapes. All I'm asking for is a recipe involving crachnid pears. They usually produce pink fruit but rarely the fruit can be blue.

I did a search on Crachnid pears but found nothing. I've never heard of that type of pear but then again I'm not a pear expert. I'm sure the pear butter will work as long as you're using a soft-flesh pear like a Bartlett. Asian pears are crunchy so wouldn't work for this recipe.
